I used to write this as the most precious little newsletter… pour of every word, where it laid on the page. Is “of” funnier than “from?”
Anyway, I quite simply don’t have the time for that but want to have the time for this. So my cute Thursday morning drop-off might not happen, I’ll be lucky if I get anything out at all. Hello, Friday.

The Non-Profit I Started: Freeing Free Press
Right now I have a minute. A minute to express out loud to no one, or the consistent 77% viewership rate on this newsletter, but I’m shitting my pants.
I’ve officially emailed out my first donor board emails to the non-profit I started with a couple of people in my town. After I lost my election, I vowed to still deliver my campaign promise of recreating the Tewksbury Times, a local free paper that shipped to every house in town. It shuttered right before Covid, then we all disappeared, and came out of our holes wondering where everyone is, not wanting to have to go on Facebook to find them.
I’ve been working on this for 9 months. Not including the 6 months I was being ignored by the original editor in chief, my now partner!, because he probably thought I was some flaky Californian Democrat. I showed him ;)
Anyway. It’s out.

THE OTHER BUSINESS I STARTED
I’m actually exhausting myself just writing this.
Last week, my dad and I launched a new business together-- "Say what!"-- might be what you're thinking, and yes, it's true. We’ve been working on it for months!
It is a large-scale affordable photography product that's printed on Vibrachrome, a metal-based printing format that is easy to hang, move, and clean. At Photossance, we don't believe a photo is complete until it's hung up on the wall. And we hope this photography lives with you in all places you call home.
Since January, we've built a content library, e-commerce site, produced a content shoot, and hosted a handful of gallery parties in Chelsea. That was all pre-launch! Now we're up and running and learning a lot about where we are and how we want to grow.
Ultimately, we feel this product works best in commercial real estate spaces; hospitality, like restaurants and hotels; as well as offices, retail, and medical offices. Know anybody? ;)
